Happy Victory Day, dear friends!
72 years have passed after the WWII. Today is a day off in Bishkek. People celebrate the holiday in the city. They make demonstrations in the memory of soldiers and all those people that took part in the war. Local government has organized march along main streets. A lot of people gather in a big group and carry pictures of their grandparents that took part in WWII. This march got its name as “Immortal regiment”. People say that nothing and no one was forgotten and memory about all those people is alive. We remember and thank all of them for peaceful sky above our heads. March will be finished at the Victory square where people will put flowers to the memorial of WWII. At 9pm at the Old Square there will be a firework.
